About this experience
Mount Abang which is located in Bangli Regency around 60 kilometers from Denpasar city, the capital city of Bali province. Bangli regency itself is situated in the middle of Bali Island. Therefore, this regency has no coastal area. The height of mount Abang is 2,152 meters above sea level. It is the second highest mountain in Bali. The peak of the mountain can be reached by hiking in more or less 2.5 hours.
Mount Abang is known as a very virgin mountain by Balinese people. The pathway of trekking is sort of a pilgrimage to top of the high spirited ambience. Along the trekking tour you will pass the green tropical forest that has grown for hundreds of years. The trekking tour is believed to be more energized as you pray at a temple during the trekking tour to the top of Mount Abang.
